Radar absorbing material is a kind of material that can effectively absorb radar waves and reduce reflection. The material is usually made up of many tiny conductive particles that have a special shape and size and are embedded in a polymer matrix.

The scattering of radar waves on the surface of this material is much more than that on a normal surface, because the tiny particles on the surface of the material will cause the incident wave to reflect and scatter many times, which consumes a lot of energy. This can reduce the reflection of radar waves and improve stealth performance.

In addition to particulate composites, metal mesh, porous media and nanostructured materials can also be used as radar absorbing materials. These materials have different wave absorption properties and application scenarios, such as military, aerospace, automotive and other fields are widely used.

Radar absorbing materials mainly include the following:

The main characteristics of these materials are wave absorption, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, good mechanical strength and so on. It is widely used in radar field.
